In order to put a text onto an image and apply glow effect to it it is necessary to complete the following steps:
- Open menu Profile and select 'Watermark' -> 'Add Text' command.
- Open the Properties window (View -> Properties) or make sure that it's already opened on the right of the main window.
- Enter your text in the text field on the top of the Properties window.
- Enable 'Drop Shadow' option in the Effects section of the Properties window and click '...' button on the right.
- First of all, set the 'Distance' parameter to '0'.
- Then adjust the 'Color' parameter to set the glow color.
- Adujst the 'Opacity' parameter to set the glow intensity. The value of the 'Angle' parameter doesn't matter here.
- Now play with the 'Size' and 'Spread' parameters to get a better appearance.
