What's New in VideoCharge 3.11
VideoCharge 3.11 provides a new dynamic variable* especially designed for creation of video galleries, support of licensed DVD disks and a bug-fix for the previous versions.
A new dynamic variable - "%c" (Gallery Index) - makes it is possible to automatically distribute the produced video galleries among different folders. For example, if you split a video file and want the produced clips to be distributed among different folders in twos, set File Name Pattern = "Gallery_%c\Gallery_name_%r". The produced clips will be distributed as follows:
..\Gallery_00\Gallery_name_00.mpg
..\Gallery_00\Gallery_name_01.mpg
..\Gallery_01\Gallery_name_00.mpg
..\Gallery_01\Gallery_name_01.mpg
You can previously make use of the Editor to avoid creation of unwanted clips, and the rest of clips will be distributed among folders properly. Moreover, thumbnails can be created and distributed in the same way! Thereby the given feature allows to simplify the tiring process of produced files' selection and distribution.
* - VideoCharge Basic does not include this feature.
Remarks
- Only "\" symbol can be used to specify paths.
- To set a dynamic name for the output files, go to the Output > Common tab, set Mode = "Multiply". Now assign a value to the File Name Pattern parameter below.
- You can set format of the "%c" variable. For that click "..." on the right of the File Name Pattern field. In the opened dialog window select "%c" and click "Set Format".
Default format value is "%02d", which means that two-digit numbers will be generated: 00, 01, ..., 99. If you change it, for instance, to "%03d", then the sequence will be as follows: 000, 001, ..., 999.
"The number of clips in the gallery" parameter below defines how much clips are put into each folder. The default value is "2", which produces the same result as in example given above.
