I notice avi mp4. wmv they all encode slow for me on video chargestudio. its not fast encoding like tmpgenc 4.0 xpress.

when converting videos to MPG format on tmpgenc

It encodes ALot faster then videohelp studio

so im thinking maybe its a codec i need

whats best codec to convert videos the fastest on videocharge expres

Hi.

The speed of encoding depends from selected codec.
MP4 is a container that can use many video codecs.
H264 is huge codec indeed, it provides very good quality but requires much time.
You may try also Mpeg4 video, it is lighter but provides worse quality.
