Error with H.264 and two-pass encoding [message #2061]

I am trying to encode an MP4 video using the H.264 codec and baseline profile (all other settings default).
When I choose the 'Two-pass encoding' option and generate the video, the program gives the error Cannot create file. Configuration parameters are not valid!
