I'm trying to cut my ftv files into 15sec clips. All other media types are ok even the 500k ftv files.

I'm unable to cut the 2000kbits/s ftv files. Each time, videocharge would crash.

Also at the video preview widow, I got this error message: "Could not obtain pictures: Unknown error."

Can videocharge express 3.8.0 cut 2000k ftv files?

info:
ftv
1280x720
30 fps
2000 kbits/s

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank You.

Any progress on this issue?

I have big projects backing up. I'm trying other methods but they require many steps and a longer process.

Anyone out there found a way? if so, post a reply.

recap: cutting HD 2000k bitrate flv files.

thx

Please excuse us for delay in answering. The issue seems to be fixed in v.3.9.0.05 that is currently available on our site. The file you sent us can be played and splitted on our computers, anyhow.

I have the latest version 3.9.0.05 of FULL and Express, running on 3 xp machines.

Still cant cut 2000k flv. The preview window still displays "unknown error".

Cut w/out Recompression.

It cuts the first clip with 0 Kb then crash.

Also Output/Actions/Thumbnails, if you check it and click on the (...) to the right, it crash.

desparately looking for a solution

We recommend you to perform a complete reinstallation:
  1. Uninstall VideoCharge
  2. Manually remove "C:\Program Files\VideoCharge Software" folder
  3. Download the latest version of VideoCharge directly from the following page: http://www.videocharge.com/Products/vc/download_all.php
  4. Install the latest version

If that doesn't help, please send one more of your source .flv files for examination.
