siguy wrote on Fri, 10 March 2006 01:55 | what's the difference between video charge professional and video charge express?
|
VideoCharge Express is intended for users who need just to split files into the parts, join a few files into a single file, extract or delete scenes form a file rather than to encode files from one format into another. Here VideoCharge Express will do that instantly since decompression and repeated compression are not required.
VideoCharge Express is based on VideoCharge for Professionals, and so inherits its wide functionality except re-compression potential (e.g. it can't add watermarks since that operation requires re-compression).

cschulze wrote on Wed, 22 March 2006 08:21 | So I get the difference between Pro and Express. Why are they priced the same. To make it more confusing, if Full combines Pro and Express, what do I get with Full that I do not get with Pro?
|
Full version possesses potential of Express version (as compared with Pro version that doesn't possess it). The primary functionality of VideoCharge Express is processing files without re-compression that allows to save a lot of time.
