heya

i got a trial of VC, and was trying to rip a IFO file to wmv,
well i tried VC cause i heard i could select the scenes and must not do the whole DVD to reach my goal, but can´t see with using the wizzard where i can select anything ?

2nd issue, my comp is a AMD Athlon 3700+, 1GB RAM, some 1200 ATI graphics adapter, and this process of ripping takes year, and i can almost not touch anything else while the process is running, is that normal ?

thx

1. When working with IFO file in Wizard follow all the steps, finally click "Finish" and choose "No, I'd like to start the process later". Then click the Editor button - Timeline Editor will open. Here you can select the necessary scenes (use Toggle Marking index.php?t=getfile&id=33&private=0 button on the bottom left).

2. Video decoding/encoding is a resource-intensive enough process, therefore most likely it is normal. Additional resourses are also taken when you work with DVD directly from DVD-ROM. Preliminary copying a whole DVD to hard disk may hasten the process.
