I've spent almost all day trying to figure out how to remove sections (a few frames) from a wmv file, with no luck.
Could someone please explain to me in fairly simple language what I need to do to accomplish this? I do have the lastest version of video charge for professionals v3.4.3.28

The simplest way seems to be the following:
- Load VideoCharge
- Add an input file
- Open the Editor
- Select the scenes that you want to get rid of.
This may be made by means of
- F6, F7, F8 keys
- menu Edit -> Timelines menu subitem
- "Toggle Marking" button placed on the left from the preview band
- Timelines tab (on the right side of the Timeline Editor window) - right click and choose Add Timeline/Gallary context menu subitem.
- Right click on "Timelines" folder (on the Input tab, on the left side of the Timeline Editor window)
- Choose Invert Timelines by Selection context menu subitem (as a result the selected scenes will appear diselected and vice versa)
- Close the Timeline Editor window
- Find Output tab -> Common tab -> Mode parameter and set Mode = Single.
- Specify output file name and save the config file if necessary, run VideoCharge.

I also have a question on something different.
I would like to use the thumbnail selection options, but I can't get them to work right. There are two places to choose best frame, I choose best frame count frame for compare in the common tab and no matter which number I choose, it still chooses the first frame. Then if I try to change the same setting in picture to anything other than first frame, it won't create the thumbnail at all. Is this a bug in the program or am I doing something wrong?
thank you for any help you can give me. I really want to use video charge for these things because I know it can do them.

F7 key begins marking (designates the start point of a scene), F8 ends marking (designates the end point of a scene), F6 may be used for both beginning and ending marking. That is to select a scene you need to choose the start point of the scene (shift the pointer in the preview area at the bottom) and press F7 or F6 key, then choose the end point and press F8 or F6 key. After that the selected scene will appear marked with red color.

Clicking "Toggle Marking" button is equivalent to pressing F6 key, i.e. it's used for designation of the start or the end point of a scene.

Here you can specify the start and the end point (of a scene to be selected) with absolute precision. For instance, if you want to select a scene that begins at 300-th frame and ends at 1500-th frame, you should set the following parameters:
