What wmv codec version comes with your software? I initially installed the codec with your software then a friend of mine went and installed the codec with another program and ever since the compression with videocharge has been worse. I tried uninstalling the codec / programs, but everytime i try installing videocharge again so i can install the codec that comes with it, i'm never asked to install any codecs...

VideoCharge has no built-in codecs. It uses the codecs already installed in operating system. To obtain better quality with VideoCharge, we recommend to use Windows Media Video 9 codec and experiment with settings a bit. For example, when using CBR encoding mode, "two-pass encoding" option is available. It takes twice as many time as with 1-pass, but gives the better quality.
