So i have an unencoded dvd that i want to cut a scene out of. I select DVD as the source, and then get to the cd to play. But it plays with no audio, and then when i set the timeline for the scene i want to cut out, and process it. I get an initilization error. The original file format is mpeg, but i want it to come out in quicktime?

any input on what im doing wrong
