andromeda wrote on Thu, 19 October 2006 12:06 | Hello,
I am learning how to use VideoCharge, i am going to create galleries from Movie file (WMV). What drives me crazy is milion of possible settings and each of it have another impact in result clip. It is nice that there is so much settings, but only thing i need is make the split movie parts EXACTLY same settings as a source movie ... anybody know how to do this?
Thanx, Andromeda.

If you are not going to change frame size of the movie, add watermarks, but want just to split movie (and probably create thumbnails), we recommend you to make use of "Without Re-compression" output format.
The advantages of this method are:
- Saving tons of time (split of 1-hour movie will take about 2-5 minutes)
- No quality loss (since re-compression is not involved!); at the output you'll get the movies having absolutely the same characteristics as the original movie has (except duration of course).
Does it give the best fit for you?
