We need some sort of documentation. I've spent 2 days trying various things to get it to do something other than what's in the default templates.
Some explanation of the variables would be nice.
Is there any way to put custom stuff in there?

For instance, I would like to make, say 5 thumbnails of a 10 minute movie, and have 4 of them link to full size screencaps, and one of them link to a flash trailer about 30 seconds long.

Hi.

Videocharge Studio now doesn't have all abilities that you need,
but it will be added soon in nearest versions.
It relates to some abilities for HTML templates.

You should:

Add output video format - Flash.
Add output Image format
(menu commands – Add Output Video Format + Add Output Image Format)

Set in the output settings - split video.
You will have 5 video and 5 image files.

Now you should remove unused files:
Click on Video format on the left tree.
In the editor window press apply changes -> Selected Format
and remove all unused videos.

After that you should set for the rest video file - length = 30 sec. in the Timeline.

Variables:

{VIDEO_FORMAT_0_PATH} – path to output Video file
{IMAGE_FORMAT_0_PATH} – path to output Image file.
{IMAGE_FORMAT_0_WIDTH} – the width of image
{IMAGE_FORMAT_0_HEIGHT} – the height of image

Big thanks for your post.
We will try to simplify the decision of your task soon.

Regards,
Videocharge Team.
