Adding Watermarks an easier way [message #490] Mon, 15 February 2016 04:19 Go to next message

Is there an easier way to add watermarks rather than manually moving the watermark to the location wanted?

I want to add watermarks to the bottom right of all of my movies and i have ALOT of movies to encode, it takes alot of work to manually add the watermark to the correct location on each movie.

Can i set some preset somehow that puts the watermark at the bottom right corner of each movie without doing this manually?

Thanks, your help would be GREATLY appreciated.

You can do that with VideoCharge, but unfortunately the way is not too simple. You may try to experiment a bit with settings in Watermark Editor -> Area tab - note that there are 3 units for defining watermark's position: "Pixel", "Percent" and "Fixed". For example, with settings shown on screenshot below the watermark (text) will be placed at the bottom right corner of a movie, regardless of movie's frame size.

index.php?t=getfile&id=37&private=0

But now are developing a new product that is primarily intended for adding watermarks to media files. This product will possess all necessary features to make adding of watermarks as much easy as possible. Release is scheduled approximately for the middle of spring. Please keep an eye on announcements on our site!

Ok, all i need to do is add these settings to each movie encoded manually? For instance i couldn't encode multiple movies in a queue with these settings i would have to manually set these settings for every movie. The only work it saves me is from moving the image manually to the corner of the movies?

No. With this settings (saved once in the config file), watermark will be placed at the bottom right corner of all movies (processed with that config file), regardless of movie's frame size. Save this settings once and use them for tons of content.
Of course, you may also experiment a bit with settings, to set say a greater offset, etc.
