I can convert FLV videos to h264 no problems

When I try to convert a WMV file to h264 it works to 16 or 17% and then freezes on any wmv file I try, tried it 5 times with 5 different movies from different sources. I have to crash the program to get it out as it just sits there at 16%

Thoughts, ideas?
