Hello,

I'm having a problem encoding an .avi file that was captured from a JVC GR-D250 Digital Video Camera

when I click on output/frame/size I get this error:

Picture cannot be displayed. The media source doesn't include video stream

When I try to encode from .avi to .wmv

No files have been assigned for generation, Please verify that the list of input files is not empty. Input files have format, supported by VideoCharge, and a schema for output files generation is specified

avi properties taken from windows media player:

length 59.57

Media type Video

Video size 720 x 480

Aspect ratio 4:3 actual, 3:2 displayed

Video Codec DV Video Decoder

I used windows media encoder and had no problem making a wmv file from the avi.

Can you help me figure out why VideoCharge gives me these errors?

Here we can't give you an exact answer since the information is not enough in this particular case. Please write to support@videocharge.com, describe your problem in detail and attach the config (.vcc) file.

I did that, this is the additional information that I gave them

What I did was capture the file using Ulead Video Studio 8 from mini dv tape on my camcorder to an avi file on my computer.

What I really need to do is use Video Charge to capture the video from my camcorder onto my hard drive. I have a PYRO Basic DV 3 port PCI card installed on my computer that I use to connect to the camcorder.

I need some help figuring out how to bring it from the camera to Video Charge.
