Hey there - I'm a recent buyer of Video Charge Express. I'm noticing that quite frequently when clipping the beginning and end off of some .wmv files the resulting output file is off by several frames.

Am I missing something or is there a bug? I'm marking the in and out points, outputing to a single file and not re-compressing.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

The matter is that processing in "Without Re-compression" mode is based on key frames that are spread all along the movie. Split and join can be performed only in the point where key frame is located, and all surplus frames are truncated at that.
So that is not a bug, but a slight imperfection of technology.

Greetings - Thanks very much for the quick reply. I'll experiment with re-compressing when I need to get a more exact cut.

Thanks!
