I may not have enough time to go through the software testing, thus could you confirm that grabbing any image within a video file is possible?

Using automatical grabber you may:
  1. Create a picture out of the first frame.
  2. Create a picture out of the specified frame (e.g. 1-st frame, 20-th frame, 117-th frame, random frame).
  3. Create a picture at stated intervals (e.g. out of every 10-th frame).
You may also create a few pictures of different size (e.g. one large and one small) at once.

I can't figure out how to:

Create a picture out of the specified frame (e.g. 1-st frame, 20-th frame, 117-th frame, random frame).

The drop-down list options are Second, mSecond and Frame. All of these options capture multiple pictures.

  1. Enable "Thumbnails" check-box at Output tab -> Common tab
  2. Click "..." on the right of "Thumbnails" check-box
  3. Click "Insert New" in the opened dialog window index.php?t=getfile&id=21&private=0
  4. Set "Frame for Thumbnail" parameter in the opened dialog window.
