I am considering purchasing a license for Watermark Master, it seems nearly perfect for a rather hefty job of copyright watermarking several hundred hours of proprietery video. My question has to do with it's compatibility with Windows 7. I've tried installing it on Windows 7 Pro(without xp mode, blasted 8200 processor and it's lack of hardware virtualization support) and had difficulties. The video and profile I had used successfully prior to upgrade on Windows XP 64, now does nothing when I try to process the file other than immediately show that the processing has completed. Are there known problems with Watermark Master and Windows 7 and are there plans to remedy those problems soon? Any idea if XP mode gets around those problems?

Thanks in advance.

Charles

I gotta say, the response time on this problem is a bit concerning. Can someone at least acknowledge that this is a problem so that I can assume a fix is coming. Otherwise I will have to resume my search for a Watermark tool and thank my lucky stars that I tried it on Windows 7 before buying the license.

Hi.

1) Watermark MAster works OK on WIndows 7 if you run it with "admin" rights.

2) What warning did your get? See bottom window.

Regards,
Videocharge Team.

I am getting the same issue as the users above using watermark master under windows 7.

It worked fine when I ran it on vista but has not worked since I upgraded.

I am running it in full admin mode and there are no errors reported in the bottom window.

I also tried switching it to run in compatibility mode under vista and xp compatibility, but the same issue happens.

I need to know when/if this will be fixed. This is a big problem for me as I use this program regularly.

Admin please email me.

Thank You

What is shown in the video is what I'm getting too. I don't know that I want Video Charge Studio, I just need to do batch copyright watermarks on large numbers of files.

The error is the one shown in the video I made and posted in the post above.

I uploaded the config file, named - My Config File.wcf - into the folder named Sweet Jesus through FTP. Same spot as the source video files.

Add AVI files(created by Pinnacle Studio 10 which were captured from camcorder) to the list of files that won't process on Windows 7 Pro. That's the filetype I was trying to use and I got the same error shown in the videos from the other poster, and yes the files can be played back in Media Player.

I just tried it with the latest version of the video charge program. That worked fine on the same source files. No issues at all. Can I just get an activation code for that and call it even Wink

So it sounds like Video Charge works fine in Windows 7, but Watermark Master does not. Will there be a fix coming?

Does Video Charge support the bulk watermarking of files the way that Watermark Master does?
